Charlee discovered poetry when she was in second grade. Though she has broadened her writing scope, she has never stopped writing since then. In the past, Charlee has served as a board member of the Gloucester Writers Center. At the Center, she tutored and taught workshops for a youth group and a women’s empowerment group. Charlee has also served as a freelance writer for the Cape Ann Beacon, a local community newspaper. Though she loves to teach and work for the newspaper, her real passion is travel writing. Charlee has traveled extensively throughout the world, particularly in East Asia, India and within the Tibetan-Buddhist community. Writing is one of the ways in which she was able to explore and contemplate the cultures she has experienced along her journey.
Charlee is available for writing assignments, tutoring and teaching. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
